About us

Nordic Gamer is an independent magazine made by players who grew up between dungeons, strategy campaigns and late-night role-playing sessions.

We don’t chase the latest release. We’d rather go back to the games that shaped us — The Witcher, Torchlight, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines and the Blizzard universe — and write about them with context, patience and affection.

What you’ll find here

• Features: long reads about entire series.
• Reviews: games revisited with the perspective that only years can give.
• Retro corner: how to play the classics today and why they still matter.
• Guides: for starting out, coming back or squeezing out every last drop.
